No blisters!? No way.

Every time we have an "outfit of the day" photoshoot, Roxy wants to be a part of it. She's licking my hand here.

So, Mother Nature backhanded me today. I was so puffy that these were the only pants I could find that fit. Wow. These jeans have a bedazzled butt, and they're from NY & Co.

Mom bought me the purple leather jacket from Kohl's :) It's Elle brand.

Oh, I love my curl cream. It's sold at Target. It's called Curls Rock. It's a cream with lotion-like consistency. I've used A LOT of curling products. This one is by far the best.

Look at my cute girls :)

Shirt is from NY & Co. (last spring), light blue tank is from Express, and belt is from Pac Sun.

(Please excuse our messy living room.)

These heels aren't a problem because they're only about an inch or so. They're Candie's brand from Kohl's. Since they're patent leather, I would recommend getting Band-Aid Friction Block to prevent blisters. I rub this stuff on anytime I wear shoes that rub, and I don't end up with blisters (seriously). Buy a few and put them in your purse/work bag. You'll be glad you did it!

Here's what it looks like. You can find it at Wal Mart or Target :)

Are those pajama pants?

So, a student said to me, "When I first saw you, I thought you were wearing pajama pants. I see those aren't pajama pants. They're really cool!" I own about five or more pairs of plaid pants. Plaid pants will never die as far as I'm concerned.

Black shirt is from Old Navy.

Plaid pants are a few years old; they're from Express. I love their business pants. So comfortable and last for-ev-er.

Belt is also several years old and from Express.

Meet my new, cute shoes from Macy's in NYC :) They're Marc Fisher. He makes awesome shoes; I especially love his sandals. I can't wait for spring/summer!

White sweater is from Express (a few years old).

I really did not want to have my picture taken, but I did it for the people who actually want to see my outfits. If any of you out there actually exist?

If you like my hair color and cut, see Andrea at Cavallaro and Company. She did my hair for my wedding, and she's been doing my hair for maybe five years? I love her!

Here to BLUE you away...

Jeff was at work, and I suck at self portraits, so today's outfit is brought to you by Photo Booth. I hope you enjoy it.

Did you leave your manners at home?

Rockin' the plaid

I don't know about you, but I never know whether I'll be walking into a classroom, a sauna, or an ice box every day. Some days, the temperature shifts by the hour; I'm freezing in second period, and I'm sweating by fifth. Anyway, what does that mean? Since it feels a bit odd to wear my coat all day (which I've certainly done), I need to strategically layer so that I can quickly adapt.

The black jacket was on sale at White House Black Market (Momma and I love that store.)

The plaid ensemble is actually a sleeveless dress. It's Candie's brand from Kohl's; my momma bought it for me over a year ago, but I couldn't figure out how to wear it. Last night, as I planned my outfit for today, I had a brainchild. The off-white sheer shirt (also Candie's brand from Kohl's) came with a tank top sewn into it. I cut out the tank and slipped the sheer shirt over top of the dress. I then took the dress' belt and hooked it over top of the shirt. Ta da.

You can't see it so well, but my hair is back in this pseudo bun. I woke up late and needed a shower, but I had only two minutes to make something of my hair. (Food is way more important to me in the morning.) I threw it up in this styled pseudo bun that I constantly sported in high school. I received more compliments on that hair style than almost any other. So weird.

My boots, accented by the wonderful black dog toy, are from Macy's. They're meant for smaller calves like mine, yay. I find that many boots look funky on my legs because they balloon out. These books like my feet.

I need to get Jeff to take some more close-up pictures so that you can see jewelry, hair, and what not.
